Manchester United star Jadon Sancho bids farewell to Edin Terzić, posts emotional message on Instagram
Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho recently put out a story on Instagram to thank Edin Terzić for supporting him.
Terzić was recently announced to be leaving Borussia Dortmund after guiding them to this season’s Champions League final.
Dortmund’s UCL run papered over the cracks that saw them finish fifth in the Bundesliga, qualifying for next season’s Champions League only on the back of Germany’s improved UEFA coefficient, in which admittedly their UCL run played a part.
Sancho was a crucial part of Terzić’s team in the second half of this season as he returned to Signal Iduna Park on loan after spending the first half of the season away from United first team altogether, having fallen out of favour with Erik ten Hag.
With Ten Hag set to stay at United, Sancho’s future looks set to be away from Old Trafford, with United ready to accept a reduced fee for him to let him leave this summer.
Dortmund, reportedly interested in buying back Sancho, have already announced Terzić’s replacement.

It’s not just the support Terzić offered Sancho this season; he also worked around Sancho’s disciplinary issues during their respective first stints at the club, the same disciplinary issues which Ten Hag cited made Sancho’s performances in training unsatisfactory by his estimation.
That’s the same profile of manager Sancho needs; someone who is not steadfastly orthodox in their interpretation of “discipline”, is supportive in hard times, and does not isolate you from the team entirely.
