Michael Olise has agreed personal terms with Chelsea, but Manchester United still have a chance
According to a GiveMeSport report, Michael Olise has agreed personal terms with Chelsea, though Manchester United may still be able to make a move for him.
The Crystal Palace star has been in demand for over a year now and his stock has only risen over the last few months as the Eagles have resurged under Oliver Glasner.
According to the report, Man United, having also been keen on Olise, could still make a move for the England-born France U21 international as Chelsea try to work things out with Crystal Palace, who reportedly put a £60m release clause in his contract last summer.
Apart from Chelsea and Man United, Newcastle have also shown an interest in acquiring the services of the 22-year-old.
Olise is a player that would fit United, but don’t wait for a miracle
Michael Olise would absolutely fit United in terms of the positions he occupies, but there are hurdles.
Firstly, Chelsea had agreed personal terms with Olise last summer as well before he signed a new deal with Palace with an improved release clause baked into his contract.
Clearly, this is a player that wants the Chelsea move, and given their profligacy under the new regime, the Blues are likely to offer him a contract United are better off not offering to any player going forward.
