Thomas Muller and Jamal Musiala should help Manchester United protect their superstar from Bayern Munich
As reported by Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United superstar, Bruno Fernandes is not the topic of conversation at Bayern Munich. The German giants believe that they don’t need to go after the Portuguese midfielder because they don’t lack in that position.
This is likely due to the fact that Munich have two world-class talents to deploy in the middle of the pitch. Both Thomas Muller and Jamal Musiala are excellent players so there’s no wonder that the German sides feel secure about their midfield.
Muller might not be at his best anymore now that he’s 34 years old. However his contribution is still key, the German midfielder made 41 appearances for Bayern this past season recording seven goals and 12 assists.
Jamal Musiala on the other hand gives the Bayern Munich crowd hope for the future, much like Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo at Manchester United. Musiala made 38 appearances last season recording 12 goals and eight assists.
With these talents in the lineup, Bayern Munich doesn’t need to spend on Bruno Fernandes. A deal for the Portuguese midfielder would not come cheap as he is the most important player for the Red Devils.
Fernandes is Manchester United’s skipper and he led from the front last season making 48 appearances recording a total of 15 goals and 13 assists. The team’s asking price for Fernandes will reflect his importance to the team so he will be tough to sign.
