Manchester United loanee, Jadon Sancho has bid farewell to Borussia Dortmund for a second time
Manchester United loanee, Jadon Sancho has said goodbye to Borussia Dortmund for what could possibly end up being the final time. Throughout his two spells in Germany, the 24-year-old made 158 appearances recording 53 goals and 67 assists.
Sancho wrote a pretty big message to the BvB fanbase on Instagram and even went on to congratulate Real Madrid on their Champions League triumph. The English winger played a key role in helping Dortmund reach the UCL finals.
Sancho went on to say that even though Dortmund came up short against Los Blancos, they should be proud of what they did. The simple fact that BvB made it to the CL final is a great achievement especially since no one expected them to.
With his loan spell coming to an end, Jadon Sancho will now be returning to Manchester United. Life in England hasn’t been kind to the 24-year-old. There is no guarantee that he’ll be at Old Trafford past this summer.
The Red Devils are expected to shop Jadon Sancho this summer. The money raised through a sale for him will be reinvested into the team to bring in better players this summer. However, the team can retain him as well.
If Erik ten Hag leaves Old Trafford this summer Sancho wouldn’t have any reason to distance himself from Manchester United. So, the English winger’s future is currently dependent on what becomes of the Dutchman.
