Al Nassr are considering a €150million bid for Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes
As per CaughtOffside, Al Nassr, is reportedly contemplating making a significant move by offering a €150 million bid for the transfer of Manchester United standout Bruno Fernandes. This move is seen as part of their efforts to assemble a competitive squad capable of challenging Al Hilal.
Sources close to CaughtOffside state that Bruno Fernandes is a prime target for the Saudi club, with a potential ambitious bid in the works to secure the Portuguese international. Such a deal would reunite Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo who were team mates at Manchester United under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Al Nassr may consider offering Fernandes a substantial contract, possibly valued at €70-80 million annually, if he decides to make the move. However, it remains uncertain whether the 29-year-old midfielder has any inclination to depart Europe at this stage of his career.
Additionally, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano stated that Fernandes’ agent has engaged in discussions with several top clubs. This development suggests that Fernandes’ future with Manchester United could be uncertain this summer, depending on the direction of the club’s new project and the fate of Erik ten Hag.
Will United keep hold of their best player?
Manchester United will not be eager to part ways with him, meaning it would require an extraordinary offer to sway their decision. Fernandes has undeniably been a pivotal figure for the club, making it imperative for them to retain his services. However, there are other players at Old Trafford who could potentially be lured by lucrative moves to Saudi Arabia.
Casemiro has emerged as a target, with both Al Nassr and Al Ahli reportedly willing to shell out €40-50 million for the seasoned Brazilian midfielder. Antony is also attracting attention, although as of now, there are no significant updates regarding the former Ajax winger’s future.
