Outgoing Manchester United star congratulates Real Madrid on UCL success
Outgoing Manchester United star, Raphael Varane was spotted in the stands of Wembley as his former team Real Madrid faced Borussia Dortmund in the UCL finals. It was a predictable outcome as the Los Blancos lifted their 15th Champions League trophy with a 2-0 victory.
The game went as most games against Madrid do, Dortmund had a ton of good chances in the first half but failed to convert. Los Blancos came up with a few of their own during the second half and ran away with the trophy.
Varane was elated to see his former team win and took to Instagram to send out a congratulatory message to them. The Red Devil was there to witness it all happen along with his son. Jurgen Klopp as also in the stands supporting the German side.
This was the third time the German manager lost to Real Madrid in a UCL final. Twice at the helm of Liverpool and now once again as a fan supporting the opposite team. However, it has to be noted how good of a month it has been for Raphael Varane.
He helped the Red Devils lift the FA Cup by defeating the best team in the world and their bitter rivals Man City. Now just a few weeks later the Manchester United defender he gets to witness his former club, Real Madrid make Champions League history at Wembley.
As Varane prepares to depart from he grounds of Old Trafford, it seems like everything has been going his way. The Frenchman can still play at a high level so it’ll be interesting to see where he ends up going after United.

Raphael Varane is leaving Manchester United with his heart full and his trophy cabinet bigger. It’ll be interesting to see what becomes of him this summer.
