Alejandro Garnacho acknowledges Premier League Goal of the Season award with bold Instagram story
Alejandro Garnacho was recently awarded with the Premier League’s Goal of the Season award for the 2023/24 season.
The 19-year-old Man United starlet picked up the award for the bicycle-kick goal he scored against Everton in November last year.
In response, the Argentina international put up this Instagram story as acknowledgement of the reward:
Having wrapped up his club campaign by lifting the FA Cup trophy, Garnacho will be focusing on next month’s football.
The young winger’s season is not over yet, as he is part of the Argentina squad set to defend their continental crown at the upcoming Copa América in the US.
A nice way to wrap up a strong individual season
Garnacho has had a real coming-of-age season this time round, and he has not been the only United academy product to do so. Kobbie Mainoo has also made himself known, while the likes of Willy Kambwala and Omari Forson will hope that they can capitalise on the chances they have received for the injury-hit senior United side to have their own memorable campaigns in the near future.
It is hard not to already consider Garnacho one of the first names on the team sheet, regardless of who his manager will be by the time next season rolls around.
