Manchester United star, Alejandro Garnacho shows his progress within the last two years
It has been a phenomenal season for Manchester United teenager, Alejandro Garnacho. The 19-year-old made 50 appearances this season scoring 10 goals and recording five assists. His 11-goal contributions in the Premier League are the most ever by a teenager.
Garncho was one of Erik ten Hag‘s most consistent players this season. In a season when almost the entire team suffered from injuries, the 19-year-old played almost every game for the Red Devils.
All his efforts and hard work bore fruit when Garnacho scored in the FA Cup finals. Manchester United were playing Man City and the Argentine capitalized on the one chance he got to put his team up by 1-0. The Red Devils eventually won 2-1 and Garnacho took to Instagram to share his progress from the youth leagues to the big leagues.
It’s crazy to imagine that Garnacho has gone from playing in the FA Cup Youth finals to helping Manchester United’s first team win the FA Cup. If it wasn’t for him the team would’ve ended this season with no trophies. Already the 19-year-old has started to become one of the most important players on the lineup.
In a couple more years, Garnacho will be the finished article. The Argentine has some intense summers ahead of him, but with enough work, he has the potential to be a superstar in Manchester. Garnacho is an excellent dribbler but despite his skill, he often loses the ball and overlays.
The sooner Garnacho can get rid of his less likeable traits on the pitch, the sky is the limit for him. Hopefully, United will do a good job of holding onto him for the future.
