Man United looking to pick Adrien Rabiot for free this summer
According to a report from Team Talk, as per Tutto Juve, Manchester United are monitoring Adrien Rabiot‘s situation at Juventus and could be in for him this summer.
The France international has been linked with an Old Trafford move for a few seasons now.
In the last two seasons under Max Allegri, the 29-year-old has emerged as a consistent performer and is getting more plaudits for his performances.
United need reinforcements across the board next season and would consider Rabiot a prudent pick-up, given his current €172,500-per-week contract at Juve comes to an end next month.
Rabiot has also been linked with a move to Champions league-bound Aston Villa.
Rabiot not as much of a risk as he was before
Rabiot over the years has been considered a bit of a nuisance player, but that reputation of his has significantly changed over the past couple of seasons as he has emerged as a more mature player in the middle of the pitch, almost a leader-like figure.
Capable of playing as a deep-lying midfielder as well as a box-to-box operator, Rabiot would check a lot of boxes for United.
That said, one key thing to keep in mind is a slightly worrying injury record the France international has been maintaining over the past couple seasons.
