Manchester United will have to pay at least £25m to sign Ligue 1 target
As reported by Give Me Sport, Ligue 1 club, Brest has placed a £25m price tag on Manchester United target, Bradley Locko. The 22-year-old is being sought to overcome the team’s lack of depth in the LB position.
Locko has been key for the Ligue 1 side this season and has started all except the team’s final game of the season. He made 35 appearances recording a total of three assists. The assists show that Locko is a threat in the final third but he has a lot more to his game.
The Frenchman is a terrific defender and his work rate allows him to influence the game at every level. Manchester United who can no longer count on Luke Shaw to be available for the length of a season desperately need some depth in LB.
Locko would be a cheap option for the Red Devils but Manchester United won’t be the only team going after the Ligue 1 star. Chelsea are also interested in the 22-year-old and would be willing to pay good money for him.
The West Londoners want to take the initiative and sign Locko before anyone else gets a chance to. So, Man United needs to realize that time is of the essence and show some promptness if they want to sign the 22-year-old.
Locko is also on the target list of West Ham United and Newcastle United. Clearly, the Red Devils will not be having an easy time as they try to go after the French defender this summer.
