Manchester United captain gets treated to his own chants while celebrating FA Cup win over Man City
Manchester United pulled off the impossible last night as they beat their local rivals, Man City to lift the FA Cup. Everyone was counting the Red Devils out and expected them to lose this game by a landslide.
However, Manchester United were not ready to give up as Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho, and Kobbie Mainoo proved to be the point of difference. The Portuguese skipper was elated about his team’s win.
Moreover, the crowd was happy to see him lead United to victory. The whole stadium erupted and chants of his name, Bruno could be heard throughout Wembley. Fernandes took to Instagram to celebrate the team’s FA Cup glory and Rasmus Hojlund joined in by leaving a comment on his post.
The young Dane treated Fernandes to his own viral chant as he left a comment that read, “Bruno Bruno brunoooo”. Clearly, the team as well as the fans are aware of the impact the Portuguese midfielder had yesterday.
The Red Devils had no business winning that final on paper, Man City clearly outclassed Erik ten Hag and his crew. However, the Old Trafford squad wanted it more than their rivals and that’s what made all the difference.
Despite the poor campaign that Manchester United have endured they beat their local rivals Man City to win the FA Cup. With this victory, they have also booked themselves a place in the Europa League next season.
