Manchester United expected to use £50m star to sign Michael Olise

As reported by Spanish publication Fichajes, Manchester United could make use of Aaron Wan-Bissaka as they try and sign Michael Olise this summer. The Red Devils originally bought Bissaka from Crystal Palace for a fee of £50m.

So what the Red Devils essentially plan on doing is giving Palace one of their old stars back and picking a new one in his place. However, despite offering Wan-Bissaka Man United will most likely need to pay a sizeable sum for Olise.

The 22-year-old is one of the most exciting wingers in the Premier League right now. Olise has made 18 appearances for Crystal Palace this season recording 10 goals and five assists.

A player of the Frenchman’s quality could come in and make an immediate impact on the Old Trafford team. However, Olise’s contract needs to be taken into account as well.

Just last summer, the 22-year-old signed an extension with Palace and his contract will now run till 2027. This will further increase the price for Manchester United who are looking forward to a big summer.

Luckily for Man United Wan-Bissaka has been in fine form during the closing days of the season, his performance will surely help the team have an easier time while negotiating for Olise.
