Manchester United could lose summer target as PSG recognise the player as a replacement for Mbappe
Manchester United have long been linked to Napoli forward, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but PSG or Paris Saint-Germain could spoil their party this summer. As reported by French publication Mercato, the 23-year-old is considered the ideal replacement for Kylian Mbappe.
After seven years with the Ligue 1 giants, the Frenchman will be taking his talents to Real Madrid this summer. Mbappe made 306 appearances for PSG while recording a staggering 255 goals along with 108 assists.
Losing one of their best players on a free transfer will not make the PSG fans happy, so a big signing is crucial this summer and Manchester United-linked, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is now in the Ligue 1 side’s crosshairs.
The 23-year-old winger has been showing some tremendous signs this season. Khivcha has made 43 appearances for Napoli while recording 10 goals and nine assists. He has a lot of tools that Manchester United is in desperate need of.
Kvaratskhelia is a terrific dribbler, he can facilitate for his teammates and can carve out chances for himself as well. A player of his quality and with so much promise is exactly what the Red Devils need at the moment.
However, now that PSG are in the mix Manchester United will have an extremely tough time trying to sign the 23-year-old. After all, not everyone’s pockets run as deep as the French giants.
