Manchester United linked UCL winning manager speaks on returning to the Premier League

Manchester United managerial target indicates he could be open to a Premier League return

Things were already terrible for Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag and his team’s most recent loss against Crystal Palace has only made things worse. The Red Devils had no answer for the Eagles who trashed them in a 4-0 win.

This also led to United’s place in the Europa League falling in doubt as the team is now eighth on the table. Erik ten Hag’s job is now as at risk as it has ever been. Thomas Tuchel is one name that has constantly popped up as a possible replacement.

The UCl winning manager has already managed and won with Chelsea during his first time in the PL. He could end up returning to the Premier League since he loved his time in England. Here’s what he had to say when questioned about the notion. (h/t Manchester Evening News)

“I’d rather not answer but it is no secret that I loved it at Chelsea, I loved it in England.”

Tuchel went on to state that he loved it in the Premier League and it was a very special experience for him. So, the German manager could be open for a return and a vacancy is about to open up at Manchester United.

Erik ten Hag has the slightest of chances at saving his job at Old Trafford. A win in the FA Cup finals and a top-six spot in the Premier League would mean their season wasn’t a complete failure. However, even this might not be enough to save the Dutchman.

It’ll be interesting to see what kind of performance Erik ten Hag’s team gives for the rest of this season now that their manager is at extreme risk of being sacked.

Erik ten Hag remains convinced that he is the right man to lead Manchester United despite Crystal Palace hammering.
