“I’d be replacing him” says Manchester United icon while speaking on Erik ten Hag
Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag doesn’t have a lot of people left in his corner at Old Trafford. Things have only gotten worse for the Dutchman ever since John Murtough left as well.
He could fix things and get people on his side by putting up results. However, Ten Hag and his team have been far too inconsistent this season and their form in the Premier League leaves a lot to be desired.
Man United icon and former Ballon d’Or winner, Michael Owen is also not a fan of the Dutchman. Recently while speaking to the EPL index the former Red Devil stated he would replace Ten Hag. Let’s have a look.
“Yeah, I’d be replacing him. Erik Ten Hag has been there a while now and I’ve not seen loads of improvement.”
Owen added that Ten Hag’s communication also seems to be a problem. A lot of people don’t buy the things that the Dutchman says following the team’s terrible performance. Just a few days ago he stated that Man United play some of the most entertaining football.
This statement couldn’t be further from the truth and Owen believes a club of this stature shouldn’t have a manager who can’t effectively communicate with the leadership, team and supporters of the club.
Owen isn’t the only one who wants to replace Erik ten Hag. All talk currently indicates that the Dutchman will not be at Old Trafford past this season.
