3 starlets including Kobbie Mainoo will be strictly ‘off-limits’ as Manchester United prepares for summer transfer exodus

Only Kobbie Mainoo and two other Man United starlets will be safe this summer.

As reported by The Telegraph (paid subscription), Manchester United are open to selling a majority of their first-team stars this summer. The Red Devils have had an extremely disappointing season and new part owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his team aren’t too impressed.

It seems like the INEOS chief is starting to kick off some kind of rebuild at Old Trafford. Things have been the same way for too long and the club has suffered because of it. These changes could be exactly what they need to be competitive again.

A lot of the first-team players had a disappointing season which is reflected by the Red Devils’ results across all competitions. Apart from the FA Cup United have not had not fangs at all this season.

Casemiro is only getting older and makes too much money, Varane’s contract is expiring this summer, Ornstein says Marcus Rashford could be moved if the right offer arrives. There are so many stars that might not don the Red shirt next season.

However, there are three who will definitely be a part of United’s future. Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo, the three Man United starlets are “off limits” this summer.

All three have shown promising signs this season and have been three of the team’s best players. In fact, 20-year-old Hojlund and 19-year-old Garnacho even outscored Marcus Rashford this season.

It’s scary to imagine what the future holds for these three immense talents. Hopefully, they’ll be wearing the Manchester United badge for a long time to come. The club is already taking steps to make sure of that.
