Manchester United are silently waiting on the decision of potential Erik ten Hag replacement
As reported by The Mirror, Manchester United are silently observing the situation surrounding potential Erik ten Hag replacement, Thomas Tuchel. The German manager will be leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
However, Tuchel has suddenly found himself in the middle of a row against Bayern legend, Uli Hoeness. The former Munich star stated that Thomas does not have the coaching ability to develop his players.
The German manager took offence and gave his own reaction. While he does have his mind on the upcoming game against Madrid, Tuchel could not help but share his thoughts on the situation. (h/t The Mirror)
“I have very little understanding of it. I find it absolutely baseless!”
“This is actually so far away from reality that I wouldn’t have reacted to it at all if it hadn’t come from Uli. The fact that comes from our boss before Real gives it a different flavour.”
Following these events, Bayern Munich fans have launched a petition to make Thomas Tuchel stay with the German giants. It has already been signed by 17,000 people. Surely United won’t lose out on their Erik ten Hag replacement
Tuchel has been very successful in European competitions and the Red Devils wish to be a part of them again. The German manager has exactly what Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his team are looking for.
Moreover, Tuchel already has experience in the Premier League thanks to his time with Chelsea. Manchester United might not get another opportunity like this transfer during the summer.
