Fulham are ready to pay €30m for struggling Manchester United midfielder

As reported by Manchester Evening News, Fulham are ready to ‘cough up’ €30m for Manchester United midfielder, Sofyan Amrabat this summer. The 27-year-old joined United on loan back in September.

Despite his best efforts, Amrabat has not been able to have any kind of impact on Erik ten Hag’s team. The Red Devils do have a buy option in the Morrocan’s loan agreement but they will likely not activate it.

Amrabat has made 23 appearances this season without recording a single assist or a goal. Due to his poor form, the Dutchman only makes use of the Morrocan midfielder when he is dealing with a depleted squad.

Even when Amrabat does get minutes it is usually in garbage time when the outcome of the game is all but decided. During the last team’s last three games, he has only seen about 11 minutes of action on the pitch.

It seems like Manchester United doesn’t have a lot of faith left in their Morrocan midfielder. Another reason for Amrabat’s limited minutes is the emergence of Kobbie Mainoo. The 18-year-old has quickly solidified a spot for himself in the first team.

This has led to fewer minutes for the Morrocan. Moreover, Casemiro’s return has also had a big effect on his playing time. Currently, Amrabat simply doesn’t have the opportunity to play his way back into form.
