Manchester United are expected to go after €20m-rated Bundesliga striker this summer

As reported by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Manchester United are expected to go after €20m-rated Bundesliga striker, Serhou Guirassy. The 28-year-old has been in stellar form for VfB Stuttgart this season.

Guirassy has made 25 appearances for the German side while recording a staggering total of 27 goals and two assists. Erik ten Hag and his team would’ve been much better off if they had someone producing at the Guinea international’s level.

West Ham United are also after the 28-year-old and will be providing some stiff competition to Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his team. Moreover, they may have an edge over Manchester United in the race for Guirassy.

While the Red Devils might not be able to promise a starting spot to Guirassy, West Ham sure can. This could be key to signing the player this summer. The Old Trafford squad already has Rasmus Hojlund starting as their striker.

If they bench the young Dane his development will suffer. However, if Manchester United benchs the Bundesliga striker, it could be bad for business. As long as the team can figure that part out nothing is stopping them.

The 28-year-old has a release clause of around €20m and The Red Devils will be more than happy to trigger it. If they can find a way to integrate both Hojlund and Guirassy in the starting lineup the young Dane will also benefit from the Guinea international’s experience.
