Manchester United are keeping tabs on Serie A manager
Manchester United coach, Erik ten Hag is under a lot of pressure. Following last night’s draw to Bournemouth, things have only gotten worse for the Dutchman and talk about a sack has started to make the rounds again.
Amid all the sack talk Manchester Evening News reports that the Red Devils are looking at Italian manager, Thiago Motta. Motta is currently serving as manager of in-form Serie A team, Bologna.
His team sits at the fourth spot just four points outside of the top three. Since he took the helm Motta has completely turned things around for the Serie A side. Now, Man United are hoping he could do the same with them.
Motta’s contract will expire at the end of the season, when asked about his future the Italian coach said he’s not thinking about it at the moment. He believes that he is in the middle of a beautiful moment and would rather enjoy it to the fullest.
With Thiago being so nonchalant about his future it is safe to say that he either has a new deal on the desk or already knows how to proceed after his time with Bologna comes to an end. Whatever the case may be he has not said a word about the Red Devils.
Man United will have to be quick if they’re serious about bringing Motta to the fold. He is very highly rated and with so many teams looking for a new manager, the Red Devils could lose their target if they act relaxed.
