Manchester United legend’s son has signed his first pro contract with the club

Manchester United legend, Darren Fletcher is one of the best midfielders that the club has ever had. The former Red Devil made 342 appearances for the club, recording 24 goals and 30 assists.

It also seems like Fletcher’s sons are following in his footsteps, as both players recently signed their first professional contracts at Man United. Tyler Fletcher even took to Instagram to share his joy.

Tyler wrote that he was elated to finally sign his first contract with the club and went on to thank his coaches and family for making it possible. If the 17-year-old ends up being half as good as his dad, then the Red Devils have gained one for the future.

The Red Devils have been making a lot of use of their Academy this past season. Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho are two talents who were recently promoted. Both have now made a place for themselves in the first team.

So, the chances of Darren Fletcher’s sons donning the Manchester Red are very real. Both Darren and Jack Fletcher play as midfielders. Previously, they were part of the Man City youth academy which is quite interesting considering their dad is a Man United legend.

Jack has already shown promise with the Red Devils making seven appearances for the U-18 team while recording one goal and two assists.
