Mason Greenwood could be used in a swap deal to help Manchester United remedy their injury-affected lineup.

As reported by Spanish publication Fichajes, Manchester United could make use of Mason Greenwood in a swap deal for Juventus defender, Bremer. It is being reported that the Red Devils are ready to pay up to £51m for the Brazilian.

However, that price tag will likely go down if Greenwood is part of the deal. All signs currently indicate that the 22-year-old forward’s career at Old Trafford is over. He is expected to be shopped during the summer and plans seem to be in motion already.

Mason Greenwood is also wanted by La Liga giants, Barcelona. On the other hand, there has also been some talk suggesting that Getafe are interested in making him a permanent member. Why wouldn’t they when his performance has been so stellar?

In 28 appearances this season, the 22-year-old has recorded eight goals and five assists for the Spanish side. His performances have been a spectacle and he has quickly amassed a lot of support from fans of the club.

Bremer on the other hand is also an excellent player and will get to play a crucial part in Ten Hag’s squad. The 27-year-old will provide a boost to United’s defensive depth, which is a much-needed change at the moment.

Victor Lindelof has struggled with injuries along with other defenders such as Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, and Harry Maguire.
