Man United are now in the running to sign a star player believed to be Mo Salah’s replacement at Liverpool.
As reported by Express, Manchester United and Liverpool have Michael Olise on their summer shopping list. The Red Devils want to add a new winger into the fray since both Marcus Rashford and Antony have been abysmal this season.
They already have Rasmus Hojlund as their attacker and the young Dane has done well in that position. However, it is the team’s wingers who have been unable to have much of an impact.
The best out of the bunch is Alejandro Garnacho, but his tendency to dribble and give possession away leaves a little to be desired. So, Olise would be the perfect candidate to reinforce the Old Trafford attacking line.
The Crystal Palace winger has also been a lifetime fan of the Red Devils and Fabrizio Romano believes he would be open to a move to Old Trafford. However, things will not be easy for Manchester United as Liverpool are also involved.
If the team loses Mo Salah this season, they believe signing Olise would be a good way to replace the Egyptian superstar. But, United have to remember that the Frenchman is extremely prone to injuries and signing him could be risky.
The team already has one quality winger Mason Greenwood. Although, he is currently in Spain the Red Devil has shown that he can perform over extended periods.
