Fabrizio Romano reports that Manchester United have held internal talks about the future of Mason Greenwood
There have been a lot of questions surrounding the future of Manchester United loanee, Mason Greenwood. the 22-year-old joined La Liga side, Getafe back in September after he was outcasted following all the controversies he found himself in.
Greenwood was accused of sexual assault back in 2022. The charges have since been dropped but the English striker’s image has suffered. The Red Devils planned to reintegrate Greenwood back into the squad after the charges were dropped.
However, he was shipped out when the decision was met with a lot of backlash Since then the 22-year-old has been putting on a show in Spain and other teams have now started to take notice. In 26 appearances Greenwood has recorded eight goals and five assists.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Manchester United have held internal talks regarding Mason Greenwood. All signs currently indicate that the Red Devils will consider proposals for a permanent transfer.
They can also integrate him back into the squad and the squad would be better for it. However, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is still new at Old Trafford and will probably try to avoid making decisions that are met with backlash.
However, the final verdict from INEOS is still pending. A decision will only be made once the authorities at the club can figure out the best way possible.

People might berate Manchester United for bringing Mason Greenwood back. But, it won’t matter a lot if he can produce results for the club. The 22-year-old has a ton of potential and the Red Devils might not want to let go of him.
