He also takes a touch too many on the ball which can affect the unpredictability of Manchester United’s build-up play. It is said that United will be looking to move him on.

With Sir Jim Ratcliffe taking over Manchester United, it has brought a breath of freshness around Old Trafford. The pharmaceutical billionaire is expected to make a few positive changes in the squad in the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils have already started making moves behind the scenes. Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Exequiel Palacios is said to be one of the names that Manchester United are targeting according to a report by SportBILD.

The domestic success means many top clubs are lining up for Bayer’s assets. Exequiel Palacios is said to be one of those players.

Exequiel Palacios has massively improved under the coaching of Xabi Alonso. Despite featuring in a defensive role, the 25-year-old has 7 goal contributions.

Manchester United are said to admire the Argentine midfielder. It is reported that the Reds from Manchester are already speaking with Leverkusen about a possible transfer in the summer.
