Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to go after French star

Manchester United will have to lock horns with French giants Paris Saint-Germain as both clubs are reportedly planning on making an opening bid for French striker, Mathys Tel. The 18-year-old is currently playing for German side Bayern Munich.

Through 28 appearances for the German giants, Tel has recorded a total of six goals and four assists. He has also garnered interest from Arsenal so Man United will not be the only German giants going after the 18-year-old.

He was also on the score sheet during Bayern’s last outing and assisted Harry Kane for the team’s second goal of the match.

Many compare the 18-year-old to French superstar Kylian Mbappe, which explains PSG’s interest in the player. Tel is known for his excellent pace and exceptional dribbling ability.

As of now, he isn’t the best finisher out there, but with a little bit of time and development, he could reach great heights. This is where Manchester United come in, the team will likely try and pair the striker with 21-year-old Rasmus Hojlund.

Mathys Tel will likely have to play second fiddle to Rasmus Hojlund at Manchester United.

Developing both of them will provide the team with two excellent options up front. But there could be a struggle for playing time which could turn Mathys off to the prospect of playing at Old Trafford.

Both Manchester United and PSG have prepared their opening bids. It better be a good one since Tel still has three years left on his contract. It’ll be interesting to see what Bayern Munich have to say about the sudden interest in their young star.
