Manchester United are interested in bringing in Juventus star, Gleison Bremer. However, the Red Devils’ star midfielder Casemiro could be sacrificed to make a deal happen, as reported by Football Insider.

The report also stated that the Old Trafford squad has already inquired about the 26-year-old and Juventus’ asking price is £59.7m. Surely, the team will have to make some moves to come up with that amount.

This is where Casemiro comes in, the 31-year-old is already past his prime and his wage bill is surely a thorn in Manchester United’s side. Selling him off for a decent price will bring in money while also significantly reducing the wage bill for the Red Devils.

Moreover, the team is also expected to move on from Raphael Varane sometime in the future. His contract is set to run out at the end of the season, so Manchester United will need a new centre-back.

The Red Devils have also been linked to Giorgio Scalvini in the past, and now, Bremer is the newest addition to the team’s already long summertime shopping list.

Bremer is strong on the ball and excels at starting play from the back. Moreover, his tall frame of 1.88m makes him the ideal person for shot-blocking. Manchester United will not regret signing the 26-year-old.
