Casemiro shows support for under-fire Manchester United coach, Erik ten Hag

While everyone has been taking shots at Manchester United coach, Erik ten Hag, Casemiro still seems to have his back. The former Real Madrid star recently spoke up in support of his coach.

Many would have guessed that Erik ten Hag is slowly losing control over his locker room. That much is expected when you look at the problems he has had to deal with during his time at the helm.

Casemiro speaking in the Dutchman’s support goes to show that not all is lost for Ten Hag. If he has the player’s support the team can produce results on the field. However, the Dutchman does have to take care of another problem.

Manchester United looks very weak at times, this can be attributed to the team’s mental struggles. Surely this tumultuous period with the ownership changes and collapsing season must’ve taken a toll on the team.

This mental weakness was very apparent during their FA Cup clash against Newport County. The team was up 2-0, but the second Newport struck back it seemed like all could be over for the Red Devils.

As long as the players back him, Erik ten Hag can work on their mental aspects and eliminate this problem from Old Trafford. However, a lot of work needs to be done if the team wants to turn their season around.

A lot of work needs to be done on the team’s defence and middle line. If Manchester United can figure those two things out, the attack will take care of itself.
