Gary Neville has warned Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville had some sound advice for Marcus Rashford. The 26-year-old doesn’t seem too skilled at picking his timings. This would’ve been a big problem for him if he wasn’t skilled on the pitch, which he also hasn’t been for a major part of the season.
Back in October, Manchester United were ripped apart at home by their bitter rivals Manchester City. Shortly after this crushing defeat, Red Devil Rashford was spotted partying at a nightclub.
Now, just this past week before Manchester United’s clash against Newport County, the player was once again spotted partying. However, the worst part about this one is that he ended up missing training the next day.
Here’s what Manchester United Icon Gary Neville had to say about Rashford. (h\t Manchester Evening News)
“But it’s all about choices and timing”
“Then they had a game against Newcastle in the Carabao Cup after that and I just said ‘Look, choose your time’. United had just had a winter break and a few weeks off, so that was a better moment for him to go out.”
Neville went on to say that Marcus is an experienced player and he knows better about what he should and shouldn’t be doing. He even warned the player by saying that if he does this too many times people will start to ask questions.
The 26-year-old needs to start putting more focus into his performances on the field. He scored 30 goals for the team last season. However, this season has been terrible and he has only scored four goals so far.
Manchester United are all set to undergo some drastic changes during the summer. If Rashford cannot get his act together, he might not end up being a part of these changes.
