Inter Milan have been looking to get some business done with Manchester United. As reported by The Sun, the Italian side is open to selling Denzel Dumfries only if Manchester United are ready to give up Aaron-Wan Bissaka.

It seems like the Red Devils aren’t open to departing with the English defender as they have already rejected Milan’s offer. The 26-year-old is very highly rated at the club and has been a regular feature on Ten Hag’s squad.

He has made 17 appearances this season and has looked positive throughout even grabbing two assists for himself. Denzel Dumfries on the other hand is not too bad himself.

In 18 appearances this season the 27-year-old has recorded two goals and four assists for his team. His creative style would also do a lot of good for the Red Devils.

Manchester United have often struggled to create chances this season. As good as Wan-Bissaka may be, having Dumfries on the team would have given them a better chance. The 27-year-old is exactly the kind of player needed to bolster the squad.

Dumfries can play as either a fullback or a midfielder and deploying him in the middle instead of Christian Eriksen would have worked great. This could also end up helping Ten Hag’s struggling forward line. However, it seems like Manchester United have other plans in mind.

Manchester United could be waiting for the return of Mason Mount who has been dealing with an injury this season. However, that is still no reason for the team to miss out on such an excellent midfielder who can even play as a right-back if need be.
