Sir Jim Ratcliffe sat down with Manchester United Supporters Trust, MUST along with members of the fans’ advisory board this Monday. While some say nothing will come out of it, this is still more than the Glazers have ever done during their time at the top.

MUST released a statement following their meeting with Sir Jim and their words were full of optimism. He highlighted that his current task at the club is to have everything ruthlessly focused on winning.

The statement read on and revealed that Ratcliffe plans to put the right people in the right places in this football structure as he starts to set things right at the club. He has investment plans for both the team and the club.

Erik ten Hag who also met with Sir Jim not too long ago said that the meeting was full of positives. MUST ended their statement by saying that most believe that the early signs from INEOS are highly encouraging.

Ratcliffe also stated that his investment in Manchester United is not to make money but to bring this community symbol back to its former glory.
