Rasmus Hojlund has had a tough time adjusting at Manchester United. The media has been relentless as they have continued to criticize him for his form in front of goal. People seem to forget that the Danish striker is not even 21 yet.

However, the player has started to get into the flow of things slowly. He was excellent for the team in the Champions League and scored five goals in just six appearances.

Moreover, he ended his Premier League drought by scoring a goal against Aston Villa and added another to his tally by scoring a banger against Tottenham Hotspur last night.

He has also started to click with the team’s other attackers like Marcus Rashford who he assisted yesterday and Alejandro Garnacho. Let’s take a look at what else he had to say about his performance for the Red Devils. (h\t BBC)

“I know there is pressure when you come here but I am 21 next month. I am a young player, I have loads of time. There is pressure when you are a football player for Manchester United.”

He has stayed positive and says that he has started to click with the team now. Erik ten Hag has always rated Hojlund highly and will be happy to see his development with the team.

Over 25 appearances this season, Rasmus Hojlund has now scored seven goals and has recorded one assist for Manchester United.
