Manchester United and Arsenal are now looking to sign five-time UCL winner playing in Saudi Arabia

As reported by Football.london, Manchester United are now exploring the possibility of singing five-time UCL winner, Karim Benzema who is also wanted by Arsenal.

The Red Devils are in desperate need of some attacking power upfront. Their main men Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund have both been inconsistent with their performances this season.

Signing Benzema would bring a plethora of experience to the squad. Additionally, it will be beneficial to the development of young forwards like Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho.

Benzema had a legendary career with Real Madrid. Over 648 appearances for the club, he recorded 354 goals and 165 assists. Moreover, he even won the Ballon d’Or for his exploits back in 2022.

Arsenal will have to compete with both Manchester United and Chelsea for the 36-year-old’s signature. However, they are unlikely to move till the summer because of FFP. Chelsea is still in the running for a January signing and could pounce on the first opportunity that they get.

The Red Devils could look to get a loan deal done for the striker. Their season is already in shambles and adding Benzema to the mix could go a long way towards helping Erik ten Hag mount a comeback.
