Emmanuel Petit believes Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his vision for Manchester United makes the club an option for Kylian Mbappe
Manchester United have been urged to sign, Kylian Mbappe who is one of the most prolific producers in football today. Pundit Emmanuel Petit believes the Old Trafford squad under the vision of Sir Jim Ratcliffe is a possible destination for the Frenchman.
Mbappe’s meteoric rise to the top of the football world was a thing to behold. From his beginnings as the future of football at 19, he has now grown to be one of the best players in the world at the age of 25.
The Frenchman has been phenomenal during his 283 appearances for Paris Saint Germain. He has recorded 234 goals and 100 assists for the team during that time (Transfermarkt). For those of you who are new to football, these numbers are the absolute top of the class.
He has played with some of the biggest names like Lionel Messi and Neymar Junior in football at PSG. Sadly, his time with the Ligue 1 side will soon come to an end as he is out of contract this summer.
He has been heavily linked to a move to Real Madrid but if that were to happen, it would’ve happened already. While speaking to Daznbet.com, this is what Emmanuel Petit had to say about his chances of being at Manchester United.
“Manchester City already have several left-wingers, Chelsea aren’t doing well enough to attract him, but Man United could be an option with the new vision under Sir Jim Ratcliffe.”
Petit went on to say that Man United are one of the most successful clubs in history and their troubles are only temporary. Fans will be desperately clinging to this statement with hope.
