Manchester United and Real Madrid target won't leave in January as confirmed by Ligue 1 chief.

Erik Ten Hag reveals what advice he had for Manchester United after the team went down 2-0 against Aston Villa

Manchester United’s game against Aston Villa was all set to be their everyday affair. An error from Andre Onana saw them go down 1-0 and within just 5 minutes the Villans struck again to take a 2-0 lead.

Heading into halftime everyone expected the Red Devils to lose this game. It has become common practice for the team to just completely give up once they start trailing in a game.

However, Erik Ten Hag would have none of it. The Dutchman must’ve said some magic words to his players at halftime because they came out and played like actual ‘Premier League Giants’.

With a lot of style, Erik Ten Hag has revealed that he only had to say six words to get his team back into the game. Let’s have a look at what the Dutchman said to his team at halftime. (h/t BBC)

“I said at half-time: ‘Keep believing and we will win.'”

He went on to explain that he has always maintained the view that his Manchester United squad can battle and win against the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool. It’s only a matter of them playing at their best.

Once again Manchester United have defied expectations. Beating Aston Villa in such a grand manner has made Erik Ten Hag’s and especially Rasmus Hojlund’s stocks skyrocket amongst the fans.

James Tarkowski's comments should excite Manchester United fans hoping to see £100m-rated ace at Old Trafford .
