Fans celebrate as Manchester United star Christian Eriksen was pictured in training after a five-week absence from the Old Trafford squad
Manchester United fans are excited after Christian Eriksen was pictured in practising with the Red Devils’ squad. His absence has caused no end of trouble to the team’s creativity.
The 31-year-old midfielder has not participated in the Red Devils’ last seven games. He picked up a knee injury during their game against Luton. Manchester United won the match but Eriksen was ultimately sidelined for five whole weeks.
What a disastrous run it has been for the team since then. A humbling defeat at the hands of Bournemouth was soon followed up by a Champions League disaster which saw them dropping out of the competition.

However, all of that is in the past. Manchester United legend Paul Scholes believes the return of Eriksen will provide a great boon for the Old Trafford squad.
Their lacklustre attack might finally revive once the Danish midfielder starts playing again. After all, Eriksen is exactly the kind of star who can make a difference on the field.
When asked about his failing campaign Ten Hag said it would’ve been a completely different story if the players that he wanted were available throughout the season, as stated by The Sun.
Just the addition of Christian Eriksen is enough to give hope to the team. Keep in mind that all of Manchester United’s players will soon be fully healthy.
