Brazilian midfielder poised to leave Manchester United as his own agent approaches Paris Saint-Germain to discuss a transfer.
Following a horrid end to their UCL campaign, Manchester United are now receiving some grave news from Paris. Their star midfielder Casemiro could be on his way to Paris Saint-Germain.
According to multiple reports, Manchester United were already open to hearing offers for the 31-year-old. This could be a move that could go a long way towards helping the Red Devils gain some finances as they look to acquire more talent in January.
Due to injuries, Casemiro has missed 12 games for Man United this season. On the other hand, he has made a decent contribution in the other 12 he played, recording 4 goals and one assist (transfermarkt).
According to French Publication Le10 Sport, Casemiro’s own agent has been knocking on the doors of Paris Saint-Germain. The Ligue 1 club has expressed their interest in the Manchester United midfielder.
Overall, the 31-year-old’s stint at Old Trafford has left a lot to be desired. The South American star has not lived up to the £70M price tag that he came with.
However, with just over 2 years left on his contract, he could still fetch a pretty price for the team. The sale of Casemiro will allow Ten Hag to have more finances to play with as he looks to reinforce his squad.
