Erik Ten Hag and his Manchester United side were ridiculed by Piers Morgan after their Champions League loss on Tuesday

Ten Hag has been having a rough time since his Manchester United squad fell 1-0 to Bayern Munich. Win or lose, the result would’ve been the same with the Red Devils being knocked out of the Champions League.

However, given the current state of the team, it would’ve been nice for the fans to see their team win against a team like Bayern. Moreover, due to their loss, the Dutchman and his team ended up on the wrong side of history.

Consequently, Piers Morgan took to social media to ridicule Ten Hag and Manchester United. The talk show celebrity made a sarcastic remark about it on X as he congratulated Ten Hag for ending up on the wrong side of history.

Erik Ten Hag probably dreamed of making history with Manchester United. But, he could not have predicted that this is the kind of history that he would be making with the club.

Tensions are most likely running high at Old Trafford. Moreover, the United board are surely upset with the Red Devils’ campaign crashing and burning.

While the Dutchman isn’t the only one responsible, he will bear the brunt of this loss. For now, the team must recover and work on salvaging their Premier League campaign.
