Flamengo starlet Lorran is being scouted by Manchester United and Chelsea
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has tweeted that Lorran, the wonder kid from Brazil is attracting attention from Manchester United and Chelsea scouts, who are keen to lure him to their respective clubs. Since joining Flamengo’s first team as a teenager, he has attracted several top teams to his abilities.
According to Romano, Manchester United and Chelsea have both taken notice of his performances. He also stated that both clubs recently scouted Lorran recently. As long as he continues to make an impact on the field, that list of teams is only set to grow.
This season, the offensive midfielder has advanced through the Flamengo youth academy to play a significant role in the first squad. An attacking midfielder, he can also function as a second striker if needed.
The Brazilian U16 player has a contract at Flamengo till 2025. However, his contract has a £43 million release clause, giving the likes of United an opportunity to secure his signature.
Lorran made his debut in January as a substitute, and on his first start, he scored to secure a draw against Bangu Atletico Clube. This happened at the of age 16, making him the club’s youngest scorer in history, earning him a place in the Flamengo’s history books.
The Red Devils have had several Brazilian stars make an impact at Old Trafford over the years. We currently have Casemiro and Antony on the roster, with the former a key member of Erik ten Hag’s first XI.

It still remains to be seen if United makes the first move to secure Lorran. His pace and technical ability are top-class. It is only bound to increase and United should move fast tos secure the Brazilian’s services.
Lorran has the ability to become a long-term solution to our number ten role and if he develops as expected, should have the traits of a world-beater. Whether his legend will have a chapter in red or not continues to be seen.
