Manchester United likely to welcome back Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka after the November international break
ESPN reports that Manchester United could have to wait even beyond the November international break before first-choice fullbacks Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw become available.
Wan-Bissaka featured against Brighton & Hove Albion after coming on in the 85th minute of the game. The 25-year-old sustained an injury during his cameo as United lost 3-1 at Old Trafford this Saturday.
Shaw, on the other hand, sustained a muscle injury very early during the second game of the Premier League season. The 28-year-old played the full match against Tottenham Hotspur as the whole team struggled to perform in a 2-0 loss.
The Red Devils have started horribly this season with three losses in five Premier League games so far. United currently find themselves in the 13th position.
United have already conceded 10 goals in the Premier League out of five games while managing just one clean sheet. Adding to the misery was the recent 4-3 loss against Bayern Munich in the Champions League Group A opening fixture earlier this week.
New signing Sergio Reguilón provided hope to the United boss after giving a very promising performance against Bayern. Diogo Dalot has always been in close competition with Wan-Bissaka for the right-back spot.
United’s poor form is directly affected by the injury crisis they’re facing. The loss of both first-choice fullbacks is a big blow to manager Erik ten Hag as they face Burnley on Sunday.
Despite having a suitable cover for the fullback position, Ten Hag would want his first-choice fullbacks as soon as possible.

It is well known that football managers prefer having the same defensive option on a long run of games to develop chemistry and consistency. We hope that Reguilón and Dalot can hold the fort for the Red Devils till Shaw and Wan-Bissaka are absolutely ready to play again.
