Lokomotiv Moscow sporting director Dmitry Ulyanov has stated that any team looking to sign Manchester United target Sergey Pinyaev will have to pay €30 million for him.

The Red Devils have been keeping tabs on the Russian national for some time now. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, the youngster even had trials at the Old Trafford side. He spent a few weeks at the club and met the staff.

However, while the 18-year-old is still in United’s radar, he signed for Lokomotiv recently from KS Samara. However, the Red Devils have continued to be linked with the left-winger.

But speaking to Sport24 (h/t Manchester Evening News), Ulyanov has placed a massive price tag on Pinyaev and the Russian outfit will only consider an irresistible bid for the attacker.

“In order for the offer to be considered, a super sum must be offered that we cannot refuse. €30 million.”

However, it remains to be seen whether United will be able to acquire the services of the forward in the coming future. As things stand, the youngster will not be able to move to a club outside Russia due to the war in Ukraine.

At United, Marcus Rashford was the main star on the left-hand side of the attack last season. The England international found his feet under Erik ten Hag in the previous campaign after struggling in the 2021/22 term.

In the previous campaign, the 25-year-old was the Red Devils’ leading goalscorer in all competitions. We relied on the forward to find the back on the net on a consistent basis.

However, at the moment, United also have Alejandro Garnacho in their ranks. The Argentina international broke onto the scene last season and put in some clutch performances. As a result, the forward seems to have made a place for himself in Erik ten Hag’s plans.
