West Ham United working to sign Manchester United duo Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay
Manchester United duo Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay are being eyed by Premier League rivals West Ham United in a double summer deal, according to Football Insider (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Hammers could have to pay around £60 million to get a deal over the line for the defender and the midfielder in the ongoing transfer window. However, it remains to be seen whether the Irons will be willing to spend that much.
As things stand, the England and Scotland internationals could part ways with the Red Devils this summer. Any money received from outgoings in the coming weeks could be used to bolster the squad further.

At West Ham, they have sold their captain Declan Rice to Arsenal this summer for £105 million. Therefore, the Hammers have the funds. Thus, it would be wise for the Old Trafford side to try and get the most for their players from the London Stadium side.
David Moyes’ team are eyeing Maguire and McTominay. The 30-year-old centre-back and the 26-year-old midfielder are not the go-to players for Erik ten Hag. They were mostly backup players under the Dutch manager last season.
The former Leicester City star has lost his influence in the team since the gaffer’s arrival from Ajax Amsterdam. Recently, the English national was also stripped of the armband, with Bruno Fernandes the new captain.

Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane have formed an impressive partnership at Man United over the last year. On the other hand, the middle of the park has seen Casemiro cement his place in the team. Mason Mount has also been added to our ranks this summer.
