Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford on PSG radar to replace Kylian Mbappe
Marcus Rashford of Manchester United is being eyed by Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) as an option to replace Kylian Mbappe this summer, according to Bild (h/t Mirror).
As things stand, the France international has told the Parisians that he has no intention of extending his current contract, which will expire next summer. To that end, the Ligue 1 outfit do not want to lose the 24-year-old for free and want to sell him in the ongoing transfer window.
Therefore, PSG are looking at options to bolster their attack. In the previous campaign, the England international enjoyed his best spell in front of goal for the Red Devils. As a result, the 25-year-old’s displays have caught the attention of the Parc des Princes side.
Eintracht Frankfurt star Randal Kolo Muani is also on the Parisians’ radar. The Old Trafford side have also been credited with an interest in the French national in recent times.
Mbappe is one of the best players in the world. PSG have already lost Lionel Messi this summer. The French national’s potential exit will leave another hole in the Ligue 1 outfit’s attack.
While the Parc des Princes side have signed Marco Asensio on a free transfer from Real Madrid, they still seemingly have a lack of quality options up front. Neymar is the other established forward in their attack.
Rashford made his way through the youth ranks at United. Over the years, the English national has been ever-present in our starting lineup and has established himself as a key player for us.

However, the 25-year-old’s existing deal with the Red Devils has just one year left on it and the club are yet to secure his future. Hopefully, PSG will not be able to entice the Old Trafford side’s academy graduate to make a switch anytime soon.
