Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane prefers Bayern Munich transfer amidst Manchester United interest
Bayern Munich are the ‘preferred destination’ of Tottenham Hotspur star and Manchester United target Harry Kane, according to Sky Sport reporter Florian Plettenberg on Twitter.
The Bundesliga giants are interested in acquiring the striker’s services in the ongoing transfer window. To that end, they have made him their leading target this summer.
While the operation looks challenging, the Bavarians are ready to take the next steps to get a hold of the England international’s signature. The German outfit are confident of hashing out a deal for less than €100 million with the North London side.
As per The US Sun, the Red Devils also have the 29-year-old on their radar. However, the Old Trafford side are not too keen on the forward’s price tag.
Kane has been one of the best attackers in the world over the years. The English skipper has consistently been finding the back of the net for Tottenham since the 2014/15 season.
However, trophies have eluded the striker. Thus, it is understandable that the 29-year-old would want to move to Bayern, where trophies are practically almost guaranteed every campaign.
The Bundesliga giants have been without a prolific number nine since Robert Lewandowski’s departure. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting had to be relied on last season by the Allianz Arena side.
Similarly, United’s options in the striking department are limited. Anthony Martial was unavailable for most of Erik ten hag’s first year in charge of the Old Trafford side. The Red Devils had to sign Wout Weghorst on loan in January as cover for the French national.

Therefore, we could evidently do with someone like Kane in our ranks. However, our hesitance has left the door open for other teams and it looks like Bayern are going to take the opportunity to try and convince Tottenham to let their talisman leave.
