Al-Hilal want PSG superstar Neymar amidst Manchester United links
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) superstar Neymar is being eyed by Al-Hilal amidst links to Manchester United, according to CBS Sports (h/t The Sun).
The Brazil international could be on his way out of the Parc des Princes side in the upcoming transfer window. As things stand, Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi have left the Parisians and the 31-year-old looks set to part ways with the French champions as well.
To that end, representatives from the Saudi Arabian outfit have made their way to Paris in order to acquire the services of Neymar. The Riyadh-based club are willing to offer the Brazilian a massive contract.
Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January on a £171 million per year deal. Al-Hilal want to pay the former Barcelona forward the same and are also hoping to seal a deal with PSG for £40 million.
But the Premier League is also a potential destination for the 31-year-old. Apart from the Red Devils, English top-flight rivals Newcastle United and Chelsea also have him on their radar.
Neymar has been one of the best players in the world. While injury issues have made the Brazilian a bit unreliable over the years, he is still a quality player when fully fit.
Man United had to heavily count on Marcus Rashford to contribute up front last season. The 25-year-old ended the 2022/23 season as our leading goalscorer. Unfortunately, apart from the academy graduate, none of our other forwards made a big enough impact.
The England international has to shoulder the burden of the Old Trafford side’s attack in Erik ten Hag’s first year in charge of the Manchester-based club. Hopefully, the hierarchy will back the manager in the upcoming transfer window.

Neymar has the ability to make any side better. The 31-year-old still has some years left at the top of the game. However, whether the Brazilian will opt to move to Saudi Arabia in the coming months remains to be seen.
