Chelsea want £20 million for Manchester United target Christian Pulisic next summer
Premier League rivals Chelsea have set a £20 million price tag on Manchester United target Christian Pulisic ahead of next summer, according to ESPN (h/t Sunderland Echo).
The USMNT star is expected to leave the Blues in the upcoming transfer window after failing to get regular game time this season. As things stand, Juventus are leading the race to acquire the forward’s services.
In the last two transfer windows, the Red Devils were one of the clubs linked with the 24-year-old. Newcastle United have also had him on their radar over the last few months.
Chelsea signed Pulisic in 2019 from Borussia Dortmund. At the Bundesliga giants, the USMNT star was impressive. However, the forward has been unable to replicate those displays in England.
Over the last few years, injuries have hampered the winger’s time on the pitch at the West London club. In the current campaign, he started in just eight league games for the Stamford Bridge side.
Chelsea made a number of additions to their team last summer and in January. Up front, they signed the likes of Raheem Sterling, Pierre Emrick-Aubameyang, Mykhaylo Mudryk, and Noni Madueke.

At United, Erik ten Hag has relied on Marcus Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Alejandro Garnacho for most of the season. However, while the left-hand side of our attack has been decent, we have struggled to make a mark from the right wing consistently.
Also, apart from Rashford, none of our forwards has been able to find the back of the net regularly since Erik ten Hag’s arrival.

Therefore, we could evidently do with some more quality in the attack. However, will the Old Trafford side revive their interest in Pulisic in the coming months? Only time will tell.
