Manchester United are looking at other striker options amid the uncertainty of Daniel Levy’s willingness to sell Harry Kane

According to Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are keeping tabs on other striker options amid the uncertainty that Daniel Levy will allow Harry Kane to leave Tottenham Hotspur.

Erik Ten Hag is deemed to be a huge admirer of Kane and sees him as the perfect striker for the next phase of his project at Old Trafford.

Kane will enter the final year of his contract at Spurs and it is believed that he would consider making a move to a top team with a chance to win trophies, which has eluded him in all his years at Spurs.

Spurs are not on the same trajectory as United and a reasonable argument could be made that there are higher chances of United competing for the title than Spurs.

However, Daniel Levy is a shrewd operator which United are aware of and therefore are not keen to indulge in a negotiating war with Levy which can drag over the course of the summer transfer window.

The club is not keen to repeat a situation like what happened with Frenkie de Jong last summer and ideally want to bring in their desired targets before the pre-season.

Hence, with the possibility that Kane would be tough to get, the club is looking at other striker options as well who could be easily available for a transfer.

SSC Napoli sensation Victor Osimhen is appreciated by the club while United are also tracking the progress of Goncalo Ramos, Dusan Vlahovic, Kandal Rolo Muani and Rasmus Hojlund.

While the targets other than Kane do not have Premier League experience, they do have the profile and age to be a sensation in the league.

It is imperative that we sign a top-quality striker in the coming window and ideally there should be two with one experienced forward and one under-study for the future.
