Anthony Martial offered to Juventus amidst Manchester United interest in Dusan Vlahovic
Manchester United star Anthony Martial has been offered to Juventus amidst the Red Devils’ interest in Dusan Vlahovic, according to Calciomercato.
The French national’s signature has been proposed to the Italian outfit by intermediaries. Over the last few years, the Old Lady have had the former AS Monaco star on their radar.
As things stand, the 27-year-old’s current contract with the Old Trafford side is set to expire in the summer of 2024. At the same time, the Manchester-based club have their eyes on the Bianconeri’s Serbian striker.
The 23-year-old moved to Juventus in January 2022. However, the forward has enjoyed a mixed spell so far at the Turin-based club and has struggled to get going in the last few months.
As for Martial, he has been at United for a number of seasons. However, the striker has failed to live up to the expectations at the Old Trafford side.
Under Erik ten Hag, the French national has found a bit of form. Unfortunately, inconsistency due to constant fitness issues have hampered the 27-year-old’s current campaign.
In January, we had to sign Wout Weghorst on loan from Burnley to add cover in the number nine position. The Holland international has played a pivotal role in Ten Hag’s team over the last few months.
However, the former Wolfsburg star’s performances have not been up to the Red Devils’ standards. As a result, with Martial also on the sidelines for most of the season, Marcus Rashford has been deployed as a striker.

While the French national has been decent since the Dutch manager’s arrival, it seems too little, too late now for him. The 27-year-old’s fitness issues are also not an encouraging sight. Therefore, it would make sense for United to part ways with him and get someone like Vlahovic in.
