Donny van de Beek returns to Manchester United training after season-ending injury
Manchester United star Donny van de Beek has returned to training on the grass after an injury ruled him out for the rest of the season in January, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The Holland international picked up a knock in January in a Premier League fixture against Bournemouth. Subsequently, the midfielder has been available for the Old Trafford side since.
Thankfully, the 25-year-old has started training once again. Although, he will still not be fit enough to return to action for the Red Devils before the conclusion of the campaign.
United still have three more fixtures left in the English top flight. The Red Devils will also take on Manchester City in the FA Cup final to get their hands on another trophy this season.
Erik ten Hag has done wonders at the Old Trafford side in his debut campaign as manager. The Dutch gaffer ended our six-year trophy drought and led us to glory in the Carabao Cup.
Unfortunately, while the former Ajax head coach has done a lot, he has been unable to bring the best out of Van de Beek. The Holland international was a key player during his time in Amsterdam.
Ten Hag developed the 25-year-old at the Eredivisie outfit and made him a fearsome number 10. But the midfielder has been unable to replicate that form during his time at United.
Van de Beek has been at the Manchester-based club since the summer of 2020. However, the Holland international has failed to live up to expectations at the Old Trafford side and injuries have not helped his cause either.

Therefore, it remains to be seen what will happen with the 25-year-old once he is fully fit. It seems like a move away for the midfielder would be the wise choice for both parties.
