Real Madrid agree personal terms with Manchester United target and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham
La Liga giants Real Madrid are set to sign Manchester United target and Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham, according to reports in Spain via the Mirror.
The 19-year-old has attracted interest from some of Europe’s top sides, including the Red Devils. Premier League rivals Manchester City also had the midfielder on their radar.
Pep Guardiola’s team were optimistic about acquiring the England international’s services. However, the youngster seems likely to join the Santiago Bernabeu outfit in the upcoming transfer window.
Los Blancos are ‘willing’ to meet the £120 million price tag placed on Bellingham’s head by BVB. They have already agreed on personal terms with the midfielder.
United were looking to try again to make a swoop for the 19-year-old. Previously, before the youngster’s move to Dortmund, the Red Devils were in the running to get a hold of his signature.
At Madrid, the England international will find immense competition. Carlo Ancelotti’s team have Luka Modric and Toni Kroos in their ranks. They also have the likes of Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni at their disposal.
As for United, we got Casemiro from Los Blancos last summer. The Brazilian has formed an unexpected partnership with Christian Eriksen in the double pivot in the middle of the park.
Unfortunately, the Danish national looks worn out at the end of most matches. But Erik ten Hag only has Fred and Scott McTominay to call upon from the bench. Although we do have Marcel Sabitzer, he is on loan until the end of the campaign.
